SRINAGAR: The Director General of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS and CA), Jammu, Rajesh Kumar Shavan, has approved the promotion of 64 employees across various categories on the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC).
The DPC meeting, chaired by Shavan, was held on Monday and comprised the Special Secretary to the Government, Joint Director (Administration), Chief Accounts Officer, Deputy Director (F&R) and Deputy Director (Supplies).
According to the promotion details, nine Tehsil Supply Officers, one Storekeeper, four Senior Assistants, 15 Junior Assistants, 25 Salesmen and 10 Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) have been promoted.
The promotions cover six categories of employees in the department.
