Turning down state government’s directive, BJP senior politician and Minister for Health, Choudhary Lal Singh Saturday ruled out the implementation of Private Public Partnership (PPP) model in health sector.
“There is no need to implement PPP in health sector,” Singh said during a press briefing Saturday. “PPP model will promote favouritism and I will ensure that such practice is stopped.”
While alleging the previous state government of “mass looting and nepotism” in health sector, Singh said, “all the procurements will be done with already laid tendering process.”
