A female teacher died on Wednesday after she drowned in Nallah Sindh at Gagangeer area of Ganderbal district on Wednesday.
A female teacher identified as Kulsuma Rashid, 25, daughter of Abdul Rashid Bhat, a resident of Badampora Ganderbal was on a picnic with the institution Starland Secondary School Badampura Ganderbal where she works as a teacher.
Reports said that on today morning around 11:00 am while capturing photos at Sonamarg near Ahsan resort Kulsuma accidentally fell down from the bridge and drowned into river Sindh, resulting into her death.
The deceased lady is missing and is feared to have been drowned, said an official. “Efforts are on to trace her,” he said.
