SRINAGAR: Bollywood Actor Emraan Hashmi is currently filming for his upcoming movie ‘Ground Zero’ in Jammu and Kashmir.

The set location in Baramulla witnessed a surge of fans excitedly greeting Emraan, who was spotted wearing an Indian army uniform.

Directed by Tejas Vijay Deoskar, known for Marathi hits like ‘Ajinkya’ and ‘Bucket List,’ ‘Ground Zero’ sees Emraan portraying the role of an Indian army officer.

Produced by Excel Entertainment, owned by actor-filmmaker duo Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, the film also features Sai Tamhankar and Mukesh Tiwari.

In 2022, rumors of Emraan being injured in a stone pelting incident in Pahalgam, Kashmir, spread across social media, causing concern among fans.

However, Emraan clarified the situation on his social media, expressing gratitude towards the warm reception received from the people of Jammu and Kashmir and debunking the false reports of injury.

Also, Emraan is set to make his Telugu film debut with ‘They Call Him OG,’ co-starring Priyanka Arul Mohan, Arjun Das, and Prakash Raj, scheduled for release in September this year.

Recently, he made a special guest appearance in the historical thriller drama film ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan.’
