The case has been filed based on a complaint by an associate professor at a government medical college. She alleged that Malik used social media platforms to issue threats and make abusive, gendered, and derogatory remarks against her.

In the complaint, she accused Malik of criminal intimidation and compromising hospital security. “Phrases such as ‘ghaseetunga’ and ‘will strip you naked’ were used publicly. These are direct threats to my dignity and safety,” she said, adding that such remarks undermine her role as a public servant.

She further alleged that Malik, along with associates, entered the labour room without authorisation while livestreaming, calling it a serious breach of patient privacy and hospital protocol.

The complainant also cited repeated derogatory references in Malik’s live videos. “He mocked me saying, ‘This hospital doesn’t belong to your father,’ despite knowing my father passed away over 12 years ago,” she added.

Malik has faced similar controversies earlier. On March 17, 2025, a Jammu court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against him in a separate defamation case filed by former minister Ghulam Mohammad Saroori.
