Fire Breaks Out in JK’s Kulgam and Sopore Villages, Multiple Structures Damaged

   

SRINAGAR: Three residential houses were gutted in a fire in the Daderkoot area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, officials said.

An official said that a fire broke out late last night, damaging four structures, including three double-storey houses and a cowshed.

He added that there was no loss of life reported in the incident, and the cause of the fire appears to be a short circuit.

Meanwhile, two shops were damaged in a fire in Tarzoo village of Sopore early this morning.

An official said that the cause of the fire is still being ascertained, but it has been brought under control.
