SRINAGAR: A massive fire broke out in Welcome hotel Boulevard road in Srinagar on Tuesday.
An eyewitness said that the fire has engulfed the hotel; however, there were no immediate details about the cause of the fire.
He said that more than 50 tourists were staying in the hotel when the fire broke out but the locals rushed to the spot and rescued all of them safely.
Meanwhile, an official from the Fire and Emergency department Srinagar said that a team has rushed to the spot to douse off the flames. The official added that cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
