SRINAGAR: A double-storey commercial building was damaged in an early morning fire incident that broke out at the Saraf Kadal area of Srinagar, officials said.
Quoting an official, KNO reported that in the incident, one double-storey commercial building housing three shops – Jewellery, Grocery, and a Printing Press on the ground floor was damaged in the fire incident.
He added that the roofs, ceiling, doors, and windows, along with the two shops, were severely damaged while the printing press suffered indirect damage due to heat, water and smoke.
The official further mentioned that the cause of the fire is being ascertained and no loss of life or injury was reported in the incident. (KNO)
