A CRPF camp Thursday caught fire in Srinagar injuring two crpf men.
Reports said that a CRPF camp near Gole Market in Kara Nagar caught fire on Thursday morning damaging the personnel belongings and other goods in the camp.
A CRPF spokesperson said that the fire damaged some ammunition in the building besides causing severe damage to the building which was hosting the camp. “The fire occurred due to a short circuit.”
However, he said that the exact damage caused by the fire cannot be ascertained yet.
He said that the crpf men of the damaged camp would be accommodated in nearby camps temporarily.
