SRINAGAR: The upper portion of a four-storey residential house in SD Colony, Batamaloo, Srinagar, was engulfed in flames late Saturday evening, officials said.
An official said that Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) teams promptly rushed to the scene and managed to douse the flames, preventing the fire from spreading to nearby structures.
The upper wooden portion of the four-storey house sustained damage, the official added.
No casualties or injuries have been reported in the incident. (JKNS)
