SRINAGAR: A Community Health Centre (CHC) was damaged in a fire incident that broke out late last night in the Dangiwacha area of Baramulla district, officials said.
The Block Medical Officer (BMO) Dangiwacha said the fire damaged the health centre’s electrical section, but no casualties or injuries were reported.
“The timely intervention by our staff, along with the Fire and Emergency Services, helped prevent the fire from spreading further,” the BMO said.
Police have registered a case, and further investigation has been taken up to ascertain the cause of the fire. (KNO)
