A Government school building was gutted in a fire incident in Hatmulla area of north Kashmir district of Kupwara on Sunday evening.
Reports said that fire broke out in a building of government Middle school Hatmulla area of Drugmulla at around 7pm. In the incident, the top of the building has suffered damage.
Soon after the incident occurred, a team of fire and emergency men were rushed to spot to douse off the flames. However, before the fire was brought under control, the top and the windows were completely gutted.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known. Meanwhile, police have taken the cognizance of the incident.
