SRINAGAR: A massive fire broke out on Tuesday morning in the Batengoo area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, engulfing and damaging two residential houses.
Officials said teams from the Fire and Emergency Services, along with SHO Police Station Anantnag, responded promptly after receiving the alert and managed to douse the flames, preventing the blaze from spreading to nearby structures.
No casualties or injuries were reported, and authorities said the cause of the fire is currently being ascertained.
