Fire engulfs heritage dak bunglow

SRINAGAR

In a devastating incident of fire, an over 80-year-old government dak bunglow was destroyed in a blaze in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district Sunday.

Built in 1931 during the rule of Maharaja Hari Singh, the heritage landmark was situated in the highway town of Bannihal on the Jammu-Srinagar highway.

According to officials. the reason of fire which engulfed the single storey rest house is being established.
