Panic has gripped the entire Jawahar Nagar area of Srinagar city after the massive fire broke out in Bait-ul-Hilal Kashmir’s premiere orphanage run by Yateem Foundation.
Reports said that a massive fire has engulfed the Bait-ul-Hilal building and houses around the building have also caught the fire.
However, the squad from fire and emergency services have reached the spot and started their operations. The police personnel have also reached the spot, said an official from the police department.
Reports also said that the people living near the orphanage are seen busy in shifting their essentials to safer places.
However, the fire was not in control when this report was filled and the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
