Srinagar: A local mosque gutted in a fire incident in Kashnambal, Kangan tehsil of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on late Friday night.
Reports said that fire broke out in a local mosque in Najar Mohallah, Kashnambal village of Kangan during the intervening night of April, 13 and 14, resulting in the damage of upper portion of the mosque.
A local source said that with the help of locals and fire tenders the devastating fire was prevented from spreading to nearby structures, adding that the cause of the fire is yet to know.
In this regard, Police have registered a case and further investigations have been taken up.
