SRINAGAR: The Kothibagh police station caught fire and is mostly destroyed. The reasons for the midnight fire were not immediately known.
Right now when the report is being filed, efforts are underway to control the massive fire.
The police premises on the Residency Road houses a number of police offices. SP, DySP and police station Kothibagh operate from the premises.
A few days back there was a fire in its backyard when the Traffic Police headquarters were damaged in a similar fire.
