SRINAGAR: A few aerial shots were heard very close to the police station in Zainpora, reports reaching here said.
Details reveals that a sentry guarding the police post in Zainpora detected some suspicious movements close by. He opened fire. Later the area was scanned and there was nothing serious. Though adequate security arrangements were made, sources said there is nothing worrying so far.
The guard around police and security installations has been tightened for the last few weeks to prevent any attack during wee hours. In one such attack in Hajin, four militants were killed reportedly while attempting entering a CRPF camp.
