Firing Exchange In A South Kashmir Village, May Escalate

SRINAGAR: The army and suspected militants have exchange fire in a Shopian village. Police confirmed the exchange.

Army sources in Shopian told Kashmir Life that a patrol of 44-RR was forced upon in a village called Dangerpora in the Turka Wangam belt. The fire was returned. The sources said the exchange could escalate into an encounter.
