SRINAGAR
Unidentified gunmen opened fire in Nawgam, area in the city outskirts Wednesday afternoon resulting in the injury to at least one CRPF personnel.
Eyewitnesses told Kashmir Life that they heard few fire shots followed by many others from the CRPF men around and everybody ran for life.
Police spokesman confirmed the firing incident and said that further details are awaited.
Police sources said that extra forces were rushed to the spot and search operation was immediately started to trace out the unidentified gunmen.
