SRINAGAR: Flight operations at Srinagar International Airport resumed after being affected by overnight snowfall and inclement weather early this morning.
An official from the Airport Authority of India said that a flight from New Delhi landed at the airport at around 11:12 AM, marking the resumption of air traffic.
Meanwhile, the Srinagar-Jammu Highway, the only surface link connecting the valley with the outside world, remains closed due to snow accumulation, particularly between Ramsu and Qazigund.
Officials said that shooting stones, landslides, and mudslides continue to occur between Nashri and the Navyug Tunnel.
Authorities have urged commuters to avoid travel on the highway and to contact traffic control rooms for updates on road status. (GNS)
