Militants hurled a grenade at a CRPF camp in Pahalgam area in southern part of Kashmir’s Islamabad district on Tuesday, reports quoting officials said.

This is the fifth such attack Tuesday evening.

Officials said that militants lobbed a grenade at the camp in Sirbal area of Pahalgam. However, there was no report of any injuries.

Earlier in the day, as many as nine CRPF personnel were injured in a grenade attack on its camp in Tral.

Out of the nine personnel, three are in critical condition, while six have suffered minor injuries.

The militants lobbed grenade at a camp of the CRPF’s 180 Battalion at 6.05 p.m.

Meanwhile, militants fired upon an Army camp of 22 Rashtriya Rifles at Pazalpora in Sopore and fled after retaliation by the Army.

Also, weapons were snatched at Islamabad’s Anchidora at the house of retired Justice Muhammad Athar.

Reportedly, 4 x SLRs rifles were taken and two JK police personnel are injured in the incident.
