SRINAGAR
Government on Thursday promoted five Deputy Superintendents (Dy SPs) of Police as Superintendents of Police with immediate effect. The promotees include Mohammad Yousuf, Bashir Ahmed Shah, Nasir Khan, Sunil Kumar Gupta and Manzoor Ahmad in their parent cadres.
Mohammad Yousuf is presently posted as Principal Private Secretary to DGP, Bashir Ahmed Shah, as Administrative Officer in (PHQ), Nasir Khan as Private Secretary in PHQ, Sunil Kumar as ADO in Jammu Zone and Manzoor Ahmed as ADO in Kashmir Armed Zone.
The Government also promoted Inspector (S) Yonus Ahmed as Deputy Superintendent of Police (Private Secretary) in his parent cadre with immediate effect.
