Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday said in its continuous drive against the social crimes, a police party of police station Zadibal raided a gambling site at Doonipora and apprehended five Gamblers namely Manoj Singh son of Nagasor Singh, Brij Kishore son of Sukojen, Laaljee Sahib son of Gangasahagat, Shamim Mian son of Anthony Mian and Mohd Salam son of Subadar Mian, all residents of Bihar.
“Gambling cards and stake money of Rs 4200 was recovered from the gambling site,” said police spokesman in a statement.
“In this regard, a case FIR No. 20/2018 under section 13 Gambling Act has been registered and all the accused persons have been arrested,” the police spokesman in a statement said.
