At least five persons were injured after a passenger vehicle heading towards Handwara town from Sopore met with an accident near Chowgal on Tuesday morning.
A police official said that the driver lost control and Vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a nallah, resulting in injuries to five people onboard.
The injured were shifted to nearby hospital for medical assistance, he said.
A doctor at the hospital told that the injuries were not serious and their condition is stated to be stable.
