In a tragic accident in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday, five of a Kargil family died while two others got injured when their car collided head on with a truck.
An official said that a car carrying 7 members of a family met with an accident near Khudwani bypass in Kulgam in the wee hours, resulting into the death of five persons.
He said that all the persons belonged to a single family. He identified the deceased as Mohammad Abdullah, his daughters Mehsoora and Amina, Mohammad Hussain, Kaneeza and the injured were identified as Ghulam Hassan and Nargis.
Meanwhile, police have taken the cognizance of the incident.
