SRINAGAR: Five Pakistani militants were killed in a landmine explosion while attempting to infiltrate the Line of Control (LoC) in the Battal sector of Poonch, officials said.
Official sources confirmed that five Pakistani militants attempted to infiltrate the LoC at the Battal sector in Poonch.
“One of them allegedly stepped on a landmine, triggering a huge explosion that killed all five militants,” they said.
Sources further added, “The militants were carrying an IED with them, which also exploded.” (JKNS)
