Five persons were injured on Saturday after a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident in Shangus area of Anantnag district in south Kashmir.
Reports said that a vehicle (K-10 Car) bearing registration number JK03H-2022 met with an accident at Datinag village of Shangus, resulting in injuries to five persons including four women.
The injured person identified as Shabir Ahmed Khan of Shangus, a government teacher by profession, Gowhara, woman of Ghulam Ahmed Rafiqi, a resident of Shangus, Zerina, daughter of Manzoor Ahmad Mir, a resident of Nowgam, Masrat, woman of Khurshid Ahmad Wani, a resident of Briniti Achabal, Mahmooda, woman of Muzaffar Ahmad Khan, a resident Shangus Anantnag, were subsequently evacuated to nearby hospital for the treatment.
An eyewitness said that all the injured persons are said to be stable now.
