Two construction workers were crushed to death Thursday morning at Balgadh Batamaloo while demolishing a flood-affected house in the area.
As per the eye-witnesses, the incident happened when a concrete slab of a nearby house collapsed over the workers and crushed one of them to death on the spot. The other two were rushed to hospital where one later succumbed to his injuries.
Notably, many houses in the area were greatly affected in last year’s flood. And since then, residents have been on their toes to rebuild their houses.
