SRINAGAR: District Magistrate Ramban has ordered a complete ban on the use of firecrackers and flying of professional drones in the district with immediate effect.
A formal order in this regard was issued by the District Magistrate Ramban.
“It is hereby ordered that there will be a complete ban on the use of firecrackers and professional drones flying within the territorial jurisdiction of District Ramban with immediate effect, till further orders,” reads the order issued by District Magistrate Ramban.
“Sr Superintendent of Police, Ramban, shall implement the aforesaid order in letter and spirit,” it said.
Pertinent to mention that a complete ban on the use of firecrackers has already been imposed in the twin districts of Poonch and Rajouri.
