Forces on Wednesday cordoned off three villages in Pulwama district in southern part of Kashmir and launched a search operation.

Reports quoting sources said that forces cordoned off Pinglina, Pahoo and Ratnipora villages after inputs about the presence of militants there.
It was not immediately known if any militant was trapped inside the cordoned area.
