Amid complete shutdown, the residents of old town Islamabad Saturday staged protests against an alleged desecration of a Masjid by forces on Friday.
All the shops and business establishments remained closed throughout while the traffic was thin on roads.
Reports said that a Masjid was allegedly desecrated by forces during clashes between youth and forces that erupted in the area after Friday congregation prayers.
The protesting residents were demanding action against the erring forces personnel involved in an alleged desecration of Masjid.
