Government forces on Thursday afternoon launched a cordon-and-search operation at Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Reports said that a joint team of army’s 13 RR, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search operation at Banger mohalla area of Hajin.
Police sources said that operation was launched following the inputs about the movement of suspected militants.
“The heavy concentration of the forces was witnessed in the area and all the routes leading to Hajin had been sealed, and house to house search operation is going on,” sources said.
