The forces on Friday launched cordon and search operation in Jugtiyal area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Local sources told Kashmir Life that a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was jointly launched by Army’s Rashtriya Rifles, Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police in the area Friday morning following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Sources said that massive deployment of forces has been made in and around the area and house to house searches in the village was in progress.
