Government forces on Saturday morning launched a cordon and search operation in two villages of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Reports said that mixed contingents of the army, Jammu and Kashmir’s Police’s SoG and paramilitary men have surrounded the Monghar and Drabgam villages of the districts. Both the villages have been surrounded by the forces and searches are on. Reports said that searches were launched after receiving the inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

In the meantime, Locals from Drubgam village informed Kashmir Life that CASO was later ended peacefully. Meanwhile, government forces have cordoned in Namblabal Pampore as well and search in the area going on.
