The joint teams of army, CRPF and SOG of J&K police on Wednesday launched a massive search operation in several villages of Shopian district.
Reports said that a joint team of SOG Shopian, 44RR, 62RR, 1RR of Army and 14th bn of CRPF cordoned 13 villages of District Shopian early Wednesday morning after inputs about the presence of militants in the villages.
The areas where search operation is going on are Sugan, Heff, Shirmaal, Nagbal, Barbugh, Chitragaam, Turkawangam, Maldeera, Kashew, Kadgam and Nullayposhwari.
