Forces on Saturday launched a massive search operation in over a dozen villages in south Kashmr’s Shopian and Pulwama districts, reports said.
The search operation has been launched by 44RR, 53RR, 55RR, CRPF and Special Operation Group of Police in the twin districts.
Forces have cordoned off more than one dozen villages including Keller, Qasbayar, Batpora, Gulabteng, Maspora, Bamnoo, Mirpora, Kellar, Check, Nadepora and adjacent areas after receiving inputs about the presence of militants.
Reports said that door to door search operation was going on in the area when reports last came in.
