Government forces launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Babagund village of Langate in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday evening.
Reports said a joint team of Army’s 22 RR, special operations group of police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel laid a siege around the Babagund village and started a door to door search operation.
The operation was underway when the reports last came.
