Government forces on Thursday late evening launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Landoora village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Reports a joint team of army’s 34 Rashtriya Rifles, SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police and Central Reserve Police Forces launched a cordon and search operation in Landoora village after receiving the inputs about the presence of the militants in the area.
They added that a large number of troops have been deployed in the area and door to door search operation has started in the area.
The searches in the area were going on when last report came.
