Government forces launched a cordon and search operation at a village in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Monday morning.
Reports said that a joint team of the army’s 44 RR, Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel laid a siege around the Krawoora village and began a door to door search operation.
The operation was underway when the reports last came.
