The counter insurgent forces on Friday morning launched a cordon and search operation in Harwan village of Tujjar Sharif area of Zainageer Sopore in north Kashmir.
Reports said that a joint team of army’s 22 RR, Special Operations Group (SOG) of Police and CRPF has launched the operation in Harwan village following specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
They said that large numbers of forces have been deployed in the area and door to door search operation is going on.
