Chief Conservator of Forests, Kashmir Farooq Gillani today took stock of the selection of a site for the establishment of a Biodiversity /Herbal Park in the Kashmir Region at a meeting of officers held here on Monday.

The meeting was attended by Conservator of Forests South Circle Tawheed Deva, Regional Director Social Forestry Zubair Ahmad, DFO Sindh Owais Mir, DFO Research Mohammad Lateef, DFO Urban Riyaz Gul and other officers of the department.

The Department is establishing two Biodiversity / Herbal Parks, one each in Jammu & Kashmir which was recently decided in a Steering Committee Meeting of CAMPA headed by Chief Secretary of J&K.
