SRINAGAR: A forest fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district triggered explosions in several landmines on Friday night.
Media reports said that the fire occurred Friday evening in Balnoi and Krishnagati sectors of the district, prompting the army, locals and forest officials to launch an operation to contain it.
The fire also triggered landmines in the area, however, there was no report of any casualty in the incident.
