Mian Altaf Ahmad, Minister for Forests, called on NN Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan here this evening.
As per a statement, besides discussing various issues relating to environmental protection of the sensitive areas in the Valley, the Governor and the Forest Minister also reviewed arrangements for the ongoing Shri Amarnathji Yatra. Mian Altaf Ahmad has lauded the smooth conduct of the Yatra and the arrangements made to facilitate the pilgrims.
Meanwhile Vijay Dhar, Member of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board also called on NN Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan here today and discussed several matters relating to the ongoing Shri Amarnathji Yatra, particularly the arrangements put in place to facilitate the pilgrims.
Dhar has briefed the Governor about certain issues relating to the functioning of school education in the state.
