Officials said the structure, comprising two to three rooms and a tin shed, had been built on government land and was demolished using a JCB machine.

According to the officials, the structure had been raised recently, with its roofing completed over the past two days during the public holidays, following which the authorities initiated action.

The demolition was carried out in the presence of district administration officials and police personnel, who were deployed at the site to ensure the operation was conducted smoothly.

Authorities said the demolition was part of an ongoing campaign to remove illegal encroachments from government land across the district.
