Ghulam Mohiuddin Mir, the elder brother of senior National Conference leader and former Law minister Mir Saifullah passed away on Saturday late night at SKIMS Soura after a prolonged illness.
Family sources said that Mohiuddin 70 was ailing for last about one month. He was a noted contractor and former government employee.
He is survived by wife, two sons and a daughter.
He will be laid to rest at family ’s ancestral graveyard at Shumnag village in Kupwara district. Nimaz-e-Jinaza of the deceased will be offered at Shumnag Kupwara at 12: 30 pm today.
