The dead body of a 45-year-old former panch of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was found in mysterious conditions near his residence in Shangus area of Islamabad district in southern part of Kashmir on Monday.
Reports said that the body of Shabir Ahmad Wani son of Abdul Rehman of Wakeelbalan, Nowgam, Shangus was found at some distance from his residence, some hours after he had left home to see the construction of his new house in the area.
Reports said that there were visible axe marks on his head and police have registered a case to investigate the matter.
