As per a statement issued by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), former Session Judge Thakur Hari Om Singh today joined PDP in the presence of patron of the party Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
Thakur Hari Singh hails from Pogal Paristan area of Ramban district and is a known figure in Jammu region. Singh is associated with various social organizations.
While joining PDP, Singh has expressed his faith in the leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti. He said that he has decided to join the PDP due to the revolutionary policies of the party. He said, “State of Jammu and Kashmir has been passing through a crucial juncture and only a leader like Mufti Mohammad Sayeed can restore lasting peace in this region.”
Among others who joined PDP include eminent educationist, social activist KK Pandoh and advocate Thakur Sidharath Singh. They joined in presence of the party patron. They also expressed their faith in the leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti and appreciated policies and programmes of PDP.
