Four Army Men, Two BSF Personnel Injured In Cross LoC Firing

Six government forces personnel were injured on Friday after armies of India and Pakistan resorted to cross border shelling and firing on the Line of Control (LoC) in Sunderbani sector of Rajouri district of Jammu.

A police official told news agency GNS that the Pakistani troops resorted to firing of small arms and shelling with mortars in Dadal, Malla area of Sunderbani sector early morning today.

“In the shelling, four army soldiers and two BSF personnel manning the fence suffered injuries,” the officer said, adding that the Indian army retaliated befittingly.

Sources said that the injured men were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Among the injured, sources said that four army soldiers were shifted to the army’s command hospital in Udhampur for specialized treatment.
