Four Booked for Assault Over Land Dispute in South Kashmir

   

SRINAGAR: Police have registered a case against four individuals accused of assaulting a man and his family over a land dispute in the Saidpora area of Pulwama.

According to a statement, “On May 25, Police Station Pulwama received information that one Shri Kewal Singh, son of Badam Singh, a resident of Saidpora Pulwama, had been attacked by Noor Alam (son of Hakim Din), Sajad Ahmad and Mumtaz Ahmad (both sons of Noor Alam), and Irshad Ahmad (son of Sharief Din), all residents of Saidpora Tahab. The assault reportedly caused injuries to the complainant and his family members.”

Police said a team was dispatched to the spot and action was initiated. “A case under FIR No. 124/2025 has been registered under relevant sections of law, and further investigation is ongoing.” (JKNS)
